The stock light housing and the MotoDynamics light each have the same radius but there are differences in that area due to manufacturing techniques. However, the aft end of it does not extend all the way to the brake light assembly.Ī filler plate would have to be profiled to extend to, and match, the brake light housing radius. The mating surface of the stock holder illustrates the profile of the needed filler plate. Yep, remove the stock plate holder and you are left with a large hole to fill, not to mention leaving the tail, brake, turn signal, and tag light wires exposed.
